The other USB dongle I have is more similar to the link RichyP posted except that one doesn't have a toggle switch I have to calibrate it directly in Windows 8.1 HIB input configuration tool first before simulators will recognize the Yaw channel input.
If it does have a witch on it, it's on the back panel of the USB plastic port (on mine, anyway) and I think the AeroFly is the 3rd click up. There are dozens of variants out there, and not all have a switch to change what you are emulating.
